It upsets me when people try to force their religious beliefs on others. For one, a belief in something personal. A connection with a higher being is a relationship, not a passage to condemn others for not believing in what you believe. there is a reason it is called a belief and not a fact. You don't 'fact' something, you 'believe' in something. so even if your unwavering belief is at an all time high, You do not know that your belief is fact...and that's totally okay.
But lastly, forcing religious beliefs on others is also ignoring the fact that 99.9% of people that are religious had no choice in their affiliation. Absolutely none. They were born into their religion, without research, without an opportunity to believe in anything else but what your parents or guardians told you to believe. Most religious people are pious only for the reason that they were told to be...and some, to my chagrin, have the audacity to force their forced beliefs on others. It's a horrible contradiction that too many don't think about....why are you this or that religion? Because you were told to be...because you were born into slavery...because you were born in this part or that part of the world. Most of the time, your beliefs have absolutely nothing to do with you or your connection with a high power.
